Nonlocality, Quantum Contextuality, and 8 Axes in Space
Journal Title: International Journal of Innovation in Science and Mathematics - Year 2018, Vol 6, Issue 1
Abstract
The contextuality property of measurements results of quantum systems is a strong research tool in the domain of foundations of quantum mechanics. For instance, this property provides evidence that, “unperformed experiments have no results” (A. Peres’ dictum), it provides arguments against so-called “elements of reality”, allows proving the quantum-entanglements non-locality, etc. A particular class of proofs of the quantum contextuality relies on the ‘101’ property of spin 1 bosons. The first proof of this type is due to Kochen and Specker using the square spin projection along 117 directions in space. The great number of directions represents a very strong impediment in implementing the proof experimentally. A. Peres reduced the number of directions to 33. In this text, the number is reduced to 8, using also the nonlocal properties of the singlet state of spin 1 bosons.

Different Mean-CVaR Models in Various Situations and its Effective Boundary
According to the framework of mean—CVaR model, CVaR is used instead of variance as a risk measurement to obtain the mean-CVaR model, and the intrinsic relationship between the two mode...
Modelling of Optimum Number of Insulin Receptors in the Hepatic Cell using Queuing Theory
Insulin is the signal for the body to absorb glucose from the blood. Insulin plays an important role especially in the liver, muscles and adipose cell in homeostasis of blood glucose concentration. The action of insulin...
Research on the Influence of Self-Directed Learning Mode under the Core Literacy on the Mathematics Achievements of Senior Middle School Students
Under the situation of the new college entrance examination, "learning ability "and"test-oriented education" are still irreconcilable contradictions for many years. The degree of using self-directed...
I- Convergence and I- Core of a Double Sequence in Non-Archimedean Fields
The concept of I-Convergence of real bounded sequences was introduced by Kostyrko et al [2, 7, 8] as a generalization of Statistical convergence [4, 5, 9] which is based on the structure of the ideal I of subsets of the...
Oscillating Pressure Gradient-driven Unidirectional Viscous Flow in a 2D Channel
A unidirectional viscous flow in a two-dimensional channel is driven by an oscillating pressure gradient. The channel walls are at y = 0, 2h and the pressure gradient is –rho with respect to x = G*cos(sigma*t). We determ...
