Normative base of state regulation of the process of modernization of higher education in Ukraine

Abstract
The article outlines the regulatory framework for state regulation of the process of modernization of education in Ukraine. Analyzed individual legislative acts and documents that determine the activities of state bodies governing higher education and science; highlights the main provisions of legislative acts on the modernization of higher education in Ukraine, in particular ensuring the autonomy of universities. It pointed out that there is a need to link the system of management activities aimed at modernizing higher education with the quality assurance system of higher education.
