NSAID induced gastropathy in the practice of a family doctor

Abstract
Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAID) are the mostly often prescribed agent for the treatment of various pathologies. However their application associated with the development of side effects, and NSAID induced gastropathy the most prevalent effect. With age, the need for different medications increases, which requires reasonable and clear recommendations for the NSAIDs’ administration in patients with comorbid pathology, taking into account the risk factors for the development of side effects. The methods if the ration NSAIDs’ administration have been considered, the substantiation is given for the choice of medications to prevention and pharmacotherapy of the NSAID induced gastropathy.
