Numerical Modelling of boron diffusion for micro-pyramidal textured N-type silicon
Journal Title: Journal of New technology and Materials - Year 2016, Vol 6, Issue 2
Abstract
The formation of the emitter is considered as a crucial technological sequence during the manufacture of solar cells the thermal diffusion from a solid source in acylindrical quartz tube constitutes the most widely know and used technique for the formation of the emitter. Indeed, doping of n-type silicon with boron diffusion allows the formation of the p+ emitter. This distribution is often difficult in terms of homogeneity to control and requires adequate detailed understanding of physical phenomena in order to optimize the best profile of dopant diffusion. However, this work is dedicated to the optimization of boron diffusion profile by investigating the effects of temperature and time diffusion on the planar and textured. A comparison with the experimental profile measured by SIMS (Spectroscopy Secondary Ion Mass) was performed. The differences between planar and textured surface are discussed.

A study of C(V) characteristics of capacitors containing high-k oxides and high mobility carriers semi-conductors
In this work, we proceeded to the analysis of C(V) characteristics of MOS capacitors (Metal-oxide-semi-conductor) with metal gates. Within the framework of the search for new materials, we have studied C(V) characteristi...
Hydrodynamic parameters of soluble salts transfer in soils case of the Ourlana palm grove, Algeria
In arid areas, reclaimed lands suffer from a major problem of secondary soil salinity, due to a bad water resources management and the presence of a shallow water table. In order to determine the amount of water that req...
Comparison between the microstructural, morphological, mechanical and tribological characteristics of nanocrystalline Ni and Ni-Co electrodeposited coatings
For improving the wear resistance of steel used commonly in industry, nanocrystalline nickel and nickel-cobalt coatings are electrodeposited on A60 steel substrate in a modified Watts bath. The observation of the coating...
