Numerical Study of Aerodynamic Processes in the Furnace Water-tube Boiler at Different Operating Conditions

Abstract

The results of numerical studies of aerodynamics of the furnace of water-tube steam boiler DE-10/14 are presented. The boiler is equipped by vortex gas-oil burner GMG-7 performing 718 m3/h of natural gas. Calculations of the flue gas temperature distribution fields, the heat flow density on the surface of the tubular screen, velocity and pressure of the gases in the combustion volume are performed. The influence of aerodynamic processes on heat transfer in the boiler furnace at different operating conditions (power rating of 50% and 15% steam) is shown
