OBJECTIFICATION OF THE DECISION-MAKING IN HEALTH TECHNOLOGY ASSESSMENT (Multi-criteria approach)

Abstract

The introduction of objective criteria and methods for assessment of health technology assessment (HTA) reports and the incorporation of new technology in the Positive Drug List (PDL) is to enhance transparency and objectivity in making decisions appointed by the Minister of Health committee on HTA. This article describes the objective problems in making decisions on HTA in connection with the analysis of multiple criteria and indicators, as well as opportunities for the application of multiple-criteria analysis in decision making.
