Obowiązek lekarzy do informowania chorych o ryzyku i skutkach zabiegu operacyjnego

Abstract
Prawa pacjenta stanowią integralną część i konkretyzację szeroko rozumianych praw człowieka oraz są konsekwencją ewolucji jaka dokonała się w ich sferze w ostatnim półwieczu. Przed każdym zabiegiem operacyjnym lekarz ma obowiązek przeprowadzenia rozmowy z chorym i wyjaśnienia mu celu i rodzaju leczenia, a także korzyści i wysokości ryzyka jakie płynie z tej metody leczenia. Obowiązek rzetelnego informowania chorego o ryzyku i skutkach zabiegu operacyjnego jest jednym z praw pacjenta.
