Ocular changes during pregnancy - practical aspects

Abstract
During pregnancy appears a lot of systemic changes in a woman’s body, including also the ocular changes. This review describes the characteristic of physiological and patological changes occuring during pregnancy: refractive errors, contact lens intolerance and changes of intraocular pressure. The patological changes contain diabetes mellitus, toxoplasmosis chorioretinitis, neurological changes in an optic nerve and myopia.
