On The Issue of Pedagogical Providing of Gender Education of Primary School Pupils with Special Needs

Abstract
The article reviews the most effective methods and techniques of a sex-role (gender) education of primary school pupils with impaired intelligence through the analysis of literature sources, pedagogical practice and practical study of the role of gender education of children. The sex-role-education involves the formation of a child's cognitive, emotional and behavioral components of upbringing. The cognitive component includes the knowledge of sexual and sex-role identity, adequate sex-role behavior, gender roles of adults and the formation of gender models. The emotional component determines the positive attitude to the rules, which are governing sex-role interaction and to interaction by itself. The behavioral component involves the formation of appropriate sex-role behavior. The article serves effective methodological advices according to the implementation of gender-role education as in the special institution so as beyond of it.<br/><br/>
