On the issue of the functional unit of the lexical-phraseological minimum

Abstract
Practically all known forms of teaching a foreign language are characterized by a shortage of study time and practice, and, consequently, impossibility within the framework of these forms, to teach the entire lexis of the language. In this article, an attempt is made to examine the main aspects of the concept of the functional unit of the lexical-phraseological minimum, its structure and typology.
