On the Magnetic Flux Density Analytical Calculation in the Air-Gap of Electric Machines with Wide Open Slots
Journal Title: Analele Universitatii "Eftimie Murgu" Resita. Fascicula de Inginerie - Year 2014, Vol 21, Issue 2
Abstract
The magnetic flux density distribution in the air-gap of electric machines with wide open slots is discussed in the paper. The finite element methods (FEM) obtained results are compared with that calculated analytic estimations. The case of double sided slotted machines with large values of the slot to opening tooth pitch ratio is considered, interesting conclusions being draw.

Real Time Compensation of the Load Torque for DC Drive System
The objective of this paper is to improve the control quality of the DC drive system based on Arduino platform. The nameplate DC motor data are useful to provide the DC motor parameters. The cascade control loops provide...
An Extension of the Burridge-Knopoff Model for Friction
The paper presents an extension of the Burridge-Knopoff (BK) model with an additional kinetic equation for the friction force in order to reproduce the both the velocity weakening friction between the tire and the road a...
Numerical Modeling of Transient Heat Transfer in Longitudinal Fin
The main objective of the present numerical study is to investigate the transient heat transfer in one kind of all-purpose longitudinal fin with the triangular profile. The lateral surface of the concerned fin and the ti...
Integrated Photovoltaic System Used as an Alternative Power Source
This paper presents a solution to use solar energy as an alternative source of electricity to conventional sources. The solution is to use a compact photovoltaic system integrated into a micro smart grid. The studied pho...
Optimizing the Cost of Manufacturing Welded Thermo-resistant Steel Pipes
