ON THE MECHANISM OF INTERACTION BETWEEN THEEXPLOSION OF EXPLOSIVE CHARGES AND ROCK MASS IN THE CONSTRUCTION OF MINE WORKINGS
Journal Title: Вестник научного центра по безопасности работ в угольной промышленности - Year 2017, Vol 0, Issue 1
Abstract
The conditions for the construction of mine workings in the development of mineral deposits by underground method with the use of drilling and blasting operations are considered. The main factors that exert a significant influence on the quality of rock breakage and ensure the efficiency of the mine workings are presented, such as: natural heterogeneity of the rock massif; The difference between the mechanical constant characteristics of the medium in static and dynamic; Conditions for the formation of stress fields and their interaction with the rock mass; High speed of process of deformation of environment and others. The theoretical foundations and the analytical basis for the explosion in the rock massif, the formation of a system of cracks in the rock massif and the role of expanding gaseous products of the explosion in the formation of the pre-destruction zone, which has a significant effect on the quality of rock destruction during the construction of mine workings, are given. The role of internal hole drilling in the formation of a pressure pulse in the detonation of explosive charges is indicated.
