On the Vibrations with Seismic Excitation of the Rigid Elastically Hanged
Journal Title: Romanian Journal of Acoustics and Vibration - Year 2009, Vol 6, Issue 1
Abstract
Consider the rigid solid elastically hanged with large arrows to balance. Rigid matrix is established, which in this case depends on the values of the arrows to balance. In the case of seismic excitation (through basis) the expression of the excitation force is being established which, based how it is shown, depends on the rigid solid movement of the base and a numerical application is solved.

Some Aspects Regarding the Transition from Beam to Plate Behavior of Vibrating Structures
The paper introduces a new vision about the vibrational behavior of beams and plates, aiming to show the correlation between vibration modes which nowadays are considered of different types. An analysis was performed by...
THE SOMMERFELD EFFECT
The Sommerfeld effect is a universal phenomenon which appears as a result of the law of energy conservation. Arnold Sommerfeld discovered this phenomenon in 1902, while making an experiment with a cantilever beam connect...
Experimental Analysis of the Vibration Generated by an Elastic Kinematic Element with Lubricated Mobil Rectilinear Pair Based on the Influence of the Lubricant Pressures Range
The paper presents the experimental analysis of the vibration generated by an elastic kinematic element with a mobile rectilinear pair, lubricated by oil with average values for lubrication properties and kinematic visco...
The Motion of a Rigid Body with a Point Constrained to Move on a Fixed Given Surface Using a Multibody Approach
In this paper we discuss the problem of a rigid body having a point constrained to move without friction on a fixed given surface. Firstly, using Bryan’s angles, we deduce the kinematic relations between different parame...
