One person – a lot of names (about onym structure in modern English)

Abstract
This article deals with the problem of studying the structure of modern English name, which is relevant due to the fact that a person’s name has always been an important issue of general linguistics and of its areas such as sociolinguistics, anthroponymics etc. The aim of the article is to describe the pragmatics and structure of modern potential English onym units in its broadest sense. After analyzing the name of the same person in the edition of the British newspaper, we pointed out more than a dozen ways of its usage and came to the conclusion that modern English person naming is multifaceted and structurally diverse.
