One- pot synthesis of 2, 4, 5- trisubstituted imidazoles using ZrO2 catalyst
Journal Title: Indian Journal of Research in Pharmacy and Biotechnology - Year 2015, Vol 3, Issue 2
Abstract
For the first time ZrO2 catalyst was used for the synthesis of 2, 4, 5- trisubstituted imidazoles. Tetragonal phase of ZrO2 is responsible for the good yields in conventional and microwave method. In microwave method better yields were obtained.
