ONTOLOGY OF HOLINESS IN THE V. SHAYAN’S PHILOSOPHY

Abstract

The article presents some results of the study of philosophical concepts of the ethnoreligious Renaissance by V. Shayan, in particular, ontology of holiness. The theme is relevant because it marks 110 years since the birth of the Ukrainian philosopher V. Shayan on August 2, 2018, whose development of attitudes are closely linked with the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv. In the article were consid¬ered his concept of ontology of holiness in the ethnic religion of the Slavs and the change of ideas about the sacred in the world religions. The philosopher supplemented the typology of religious ontology, which makes it possible to know the Existence of various ways of metaphysical thinking. The philosophical, lin¬guistic and psychological arguments are given enough. For the first time, V. Shayan justified three types of religious ontology, which he conveyed in philosophical terms such as: mythontology is an explanation of Existence through mythological figures and symbols; rythontology is an explanation of Existence through the meanings of ritual and offerings; psyontology is an explanation of Existence by psychological state, for example, introspection, etc. V. Shayan came to the conclusion that the feeling of holiness has a nation¬al nature (native spiritual archetypes of perception of the world and life). The feeling of holiness unites H. Skovoroda and T. Shevchenkoas two another incarnations of the spirit of the Ukrainian nation. As V. Shayan believe that a true revival of the nation is impossible without the revival of native sacred tradition.
