Journal Title: Український журнал дерматології, венерології, косметології - Year 2018, Vol 0, Issue 2
Abstract
Objective — to study the clinical features of onychodistrophy in dermatoses and improve the effectiveness of therapy with Onychocid® Emtrix. Materials and methods. Based on the analysis of literature data and our own clinical and laboratory studies, varieties of onychodistrophy are described in dermatoses. Results and discussion. Clinical picture of onychodistrophy is similar to that of onychomycoses, which leads to errors in the diagnosis and unsystematic prolonged treatment with antimycotics of general and topical action. It can damage the patients and contribute to the development of psychoemotional disorders. Conclusions. Etiological and pathogenetic aspects of onychodistrophy have not been sufficiently studied so far. Complex treatment with Onychocid® Emtrix is more effective than standard therapy.
