Abstract
The analysis of statistical data on detection of onychomycosis pathogens in the clinical diagnostic laboratory of the regional dermatovenerologic dispensary of the city of Dnipro from 2014 to 2018 and the Center of Laboratory Medicine «Vis-Medic» for the first half of 2018. The clinical manifestations of onychomycosis and principles of their therapy are considered. Special attention was paid to the use of lacquer with cyclopirox (Cyclogen) in local therapy. In view of the particularities of the chemical structure, effects and treatment results, Cyclogen can be considered as a qualitative alternative to solutions with antifungal drug.
