OPPORTUNITIES TO IMPROVE THE MOTIVATION OF HEALTH CARE PROFESSIONALS IN HOSPITALS IN THE SMOLYAN REGION

Abstract
Research has been conducted among 226 healthcare professionals from various hospitals in the region of Smolyan to establish the level of motivation and job satisfaction. There have been analyzed the main problems and ranked the factors influencing the degree of motivation. The „remuneration“ motivator is ranked as a factor of paramount importance. The results of the determination of the motivational profile of healthcare professionals gives the opportunity to reveal major needs and to take action to develop appropriate motivators in perspective and to correct certain activities in the management process.
