Optimization of fertilizer and plant protection systems to improve the seed productivity of winter wheat in Southern Ukraine

Abstract
The article reflects the results of research on optimization of fertilizer and plant protection systems aimed at increasing the seed productivity of winter wheat in the Southern Ukraine. It has been established that the best conditions for the formation of the winter wheat seed crop are created by the application of fertilizers in a dose of N90P40 and by the integrated protection of plants. Nitrogen fertilizers are better to make in two terms – N30 for pre-sowing cultivation, and the rest – early in the spring before the renewal of vegetation. With high soil moisture and plant protection, nitrogen is better to be crushed, and with low moisture reserves and without plant protection, a single and fractional addition of nitrogen provides an almost identical seed yield.
