Optymalizacja grubości warstw wału kalandra
Journal Title: Fibres and Textiles in Eastern Europe - Year 2015, Vol 23, Issue 4
Abstract

Natural Modified Starch and Synthetic Sizes in Function of Characteristics of Sized Yarn
The aim of this study was to investigate the changes in properties of yarn made by sizing with synthetic and natural modified corn starch. Different procedures for obtaining modified natural (corn) starch and various co...
Application of Environment-Friendly Processes Aimed at Bonding Β-Cyclodextrine onto Cellulosic Materials
The impact of the pre-treatment of cellulose material in NaOH solution and of microwave radiation on the mechanism of crosslinking β-cyclodextrin with cellulose was investigated in this paper. Citric acid and Na-hypophos...
Physicochemical and Mechanical Properties of Different Morphological Parts of the Tea Tree (Melaleuca alternifolia) Fibres
Tea tree fibres as underutilised fibres were investigated physically, chemically and mechanically. From this study, it was found that the tea tree leaf (TTL) had the highest density - 0.42 g/cm3, and the highest perce...
Study on the Change in Characteristics of Ring Yarn during Post Spinning and Yarn Dyeing Operations
The origin of yarn hairiness has been attributed to the escape of fibres from the twisting action from within the spinning triangle. The protruding fibres entangle themselves due to the rubbing of yarn with parts of the...
Engineering of Knitted Cotton Fabrics for Optimum Comfort in a Hot Climate
Cotton knitted fabrics are popular for summer-wear and outer-wear due to their comfort. The typical porous structure of knitted fabrics, however, increases the risk of exposure of human skin to UV rays, resulting in skin...
