Abstract

The article deals with the issue of development of adolescents’ creativity in integrated lessons of music. The article gives the justification that solving the problem of developing creativity of adolescents by means of art is relevant to today, reveals the problems to the issues of forming a creative competence as pedagogical connotation of psychological phenomenon of adolescents’ creativity during integrated Music lessons. It represents the author's definition of the concept of “creativity” and “creative competence” of a teenage student, reveals the content of creative competence (associative-figurative thinking, creative imagination, artistic observation, ability to self-expression). A technique for studying the level of creativity in adolescents has been developed. Adapted psycho-diagnostic techniques to the specifics of integrated music lessons. Demonstrated effectiveness of the idea of integrating the arts in music lessons in modern school practice.
