Abstract
The performance of the first democratic elections to State Duma of Ist convocation in Odessa during winter-spring 1906 year and the attitude of the phenomenon of the population and local authorities are considered on the basis of materials of the periodical press. The propaganda activities of certain political parties are analyzed.
