ORGANIZATION OF DEVELOPMENT OF DIGITAL COMPETENCE OF ESTONIAN TEACHERS IN THEIR PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT

Abstract
The article presents a chronological analysis of the activities of the Estonian Foundation “Tiger’s Leap” as an organization which combines the state's financial capabilities, business and individuals in realizing the public needs of the digital reform of the state. The reform, in particular, was realized through educational projects and programs on informatization of educational institutions and professional development of teachers of schools in the field of information technologies, which were united under the name “Tiger’s Leap”. Were identified the main key goals of the educational programs for professional development of teachers under the programs “Tiger’s Leap”, which were achieved, in addition to forming the teacher's information literacy. Emphasized about the changes in the system of education, which became possible due to the implementation of educational programs “Tiger’s Leap”.
