ORGANIZATIONAL&ECONOMIC SUPPORT FOR STRAY ANIMALS REGULATION (ENVIRONMENTALLY ORIENTED APPROACH)

Abstract
The study analyzes the prerequisites for the emergence of adverse socio-ecological situations in Ukrainian cities due to the rapid increase in the number of stray animals. The main instruments for controlling and regulating the number of domesticated animals by humane methods have been developed. The author's environmentally oriented approach to the problem of forming a municipal policy for regulating the number of stray animals within the urbanized space is presented. The main sources of financing and mechanisms for engaging stakeholders in the process of environmentally oriented management at the local level are identified.
