It has been laid emphasis on that the chosen by Ukraine policy of integration with the states of the European Union requires convergence of regulatory base including legislative acts concerning the financial system that is impossible without realizing the world-view and ideological background of that regulatory base with which the rapprochement and compromise are planned. The goal of the research paper is the introduction to the key guidelines taken as a principle in most European states and formulated by the representatives of international organizations for the purpose of the world financial system’s growth accordance with philosophy of «sustainable development» which should be taken into account in order to facilitate the financial system of Ukraine to synchronize the movement and pace with financial systems of the members of the European Union (EU). In terms of the principles of philosophy of «sustainable development» and publication of two editions of the report titled as «The Financial System We Need» it has been analyzed the basic provisions of the world financial system transformation in particular the members of EU. It has been pointed out that integration with EU requires Ukraine to make efforts to converge the financial system. It has been stated that while reforming the financial system Ukraine has to direct attention to the guidelines of philosophy of «sustainable development» and «green» economy that in its turn urges on holding events at both national level and the level of international cooperation. Besides Ukraine should follow collaborative developed by experts and proved by practice the scripts of transformation. Finally it has been declared that in the making sustainable financial system which Ukraine covets has to be supported not only by volume of resources but also by the intensification of the intellectual component of the social space and the introduction of public monitoring of the results of activities in all clusters of the financial system.
