OSCAR WILDE AND BERNARD SHAW: ABOUT SIMILARITY OF DISSIMILARITIES

Abstract
In spite of the striking difference of their aesthetical views and tastes, Oscar Wilde and Bernard Shaw took a real interest in each others’ dramatic works. The obvious similarity between the both playwrights’ approaches to the «salon comedy» as a genre modification is explored in the article.
