ОСОБЛИВОСТІ ПРАВОВОГО МЕХАНІЗМУ НАКЛАДАННЯ ІНДИВІДУАЛЬНИХ САНКЦІЙ ЄС ЗА МААСТРИХТСЬКИМ ДОГОВОРОМ

Abstract
The article is devoted to the legal mechanism of EU sanctions under the Treaty of Maastricht before the conclusion of the Treaty of Lisbon. It considers the sanctions regimes that were introduced under the procedure set forth in the Treaty of Maastricht. It further analyses the problem of legal basis of individual sanctions of the EU under the Treaty of Maastricht. It reviews the practice of the European Court of Justice concerning legality of certain acts of the EU institutions on application of sanctions.
