Osteoporosis and Low-energy Hip Fractures as Complication of Various Endocrine Diseases (Literature Review)
Journal Title: Міжнародний ендокринологічний журнал - Year 2013, Vol 5, Issue 53
Abstract
The authors carried out the literature review on the problem of low-energy hip fractures. This pathology, as shown by the literature review, is at the crossroads of several disciplines — traumatology, endocrinology, cardiology, etc. However, despite the variety of studies, in the literature there are mainly works on one specialty, while there is the need to consolidate efforts in this direction to develop more effective methods of prediction and treatment of this disease.
