«ПАКИСТАНСЬКИЙ» ЧИННИК У ВІДНОСИНАХ США-КНР НА ПОЧАТКУ ХХІ СТ.

Abstract
Розглядаються відносини між США та КНР, об’єктом яких стає регіональний рівень міжнародної системи. Пакистан, як один із полюсів сили у Південній Азії, входить одночасно до зовнішньополітичних інтересів як Вашингтону, так і Пекіну. Таким чином, Ісламабад та його регіональна політика стають проявом конкуренції між США та КНР. Автор дійшов висновку про вплив відносин у форматі США – Пакистан – КНР на Південноазійську систему регіональної безпеки на початку ХХІ ст. The article deals with relations between the US and China which appear at the global and regional levels of the international system. Both states are great powers and their relations have a competitive nature. Such competition is implemented in South Asian region. The purpose of the research is to identify the interaction of the great powers, in particular, on the regional level of international system, characterize "Pakistani" factor in the foreign policy of the United States and China, find out the impact of the US - Pakistan - China relations on South Asian regional security system. Relations between states such as the United States and China have a direct impact on the regional level of the international system, affecting regional conflicts, intra-regional states’ connections and overall security environment. As a result, regional security system is transformed and became a field of competition between great powers. The US and China have the same object of foreign policy interests in South Asian region. This is the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. “Pakistani” factor in bilateral relations is justified by several aspects. The existence of regional security dilemma in the nuclear field, the status of Pakistan as a state-source of non-traditional threats (terrorism, illegal drug trafficking), Pakistani involvement in the Afghan problem and its solution, as well as, curbing India as a contender for the status of another world power are explained the importance of Pakistan for Washington’s and Beijing’s policies. As a result, Pakistan builds its foreign and regional policy according to relationship with the United States and China. At the same time, South Asian region has been divided on spheres of US-Chinese relations. Conducted parallels Pakistan-China and India-US are increasingly becoming a tool to support the balance of power in the region. Indeed, neither the US nor China does not help to resolve Indo-Pakistani disputes. In fact, they support conflict situation in the region that could be named as cold war and cold peace. It is visible to conduct an assumption that Pakistan becomes a tool in building US-China relations as a competition.
