Panta Rhei, or Modern Idea of the Infectious Processes

Abstract
Article deals with the peculiarities of infectious processes in the human body. There were summarized key historical data on the causes of certain infectious diseases. Attention is paid to the so-called miasmal and contagious ideas about the nature of epidemics. The concepts of cyclic, acyclic and multicomponent infectious processes are provided.
