Participation of cities in the Eastern Partnership: achievements and challenges
Journal Title: Politicus - Year 2017, Vol 6, Issue
Abstract
This article analyzes the urban dimension of the Eastern Partnership, which opened up a new space for Eastern European cities to interact with the European Union. It argues that this initiative plays a complementary role for encouraging fiscal decentralization, promoting transnational cooperation or sharing best administrative practices, but sectoral or bilateral arrangements would suit better to interests of Ukrainian cities.
