The concept of "society of risk" in the context of contemporary analysis of global society

Abstract
The article shows that in the modern era the public risk takes on a new status – a global risk. We consider the statistical and situational point of view on the risks. It is shown that the risk is growing component of social production, leading to a “boomerang effect”, i. e. the universalization and risks of globalization which violate national borders. “Boomerang effect” generates feedback, and the risk of consumption is both the beginning of its production, which allows us to assert the impossibility of managing modern society as a rigidly deterministic system.
