Participation of national minorities in the election process: world experience and Ukrainian political practice (on the example of the Transcarpathian region)

Abstract
The article is concerned with the problems of participation of the national minorities in electoral processes. There was analyzed a positive experience of the countries of European Union. The domestic electoral practice was characterized through the example of Hungarian national minority of Zakarpattia region. It was made conclusions about main directions of the improvement mechanism of the participation in elections of the national minorities of Ukraine.
