PARTICIPATION OF WOMEN IN THE PERSONNEL PROVISION OF WESTERN UKRAINE in Middle 1940’s – Beginning 1950’s. (on the example of Drohobych, Lviv, Ternopil, Stanislav regions)

Abstract
In the article was examined the role of women in the personnel provision of western regions of Ukrainian SSR, mid-1940’s and early 1950’s. On the basis of the archival documents and historiographic materials, was highlighted their participation in personnel gathering of the party and state apparatus, economic and management structures, cultural and educational institutions, and also the health protection spheres of the Western Ukrainian region. During the inves-tigated period, quantitative changes were made regarding the process of involving of local women into the leadership positions in the region. The participation of women in the reconstruction of the national economy of the region, in par-ticular, the spheres of industry and the agrarian sector were demonstrated. Also were revealed the main reasons of carrying out of that government personnel policy among the women of Western Ukraine. Furthermore in the article were figured out the main difficulties which encountered the local women in the context of personnel processes realiza-tion in conditions of totalitarian regime.
