Partycypacja kobiet w przestrzeni społeczno-politycznej w Nowej Zelandii
Journal Title: Cywilizacja i Polityka - Year 2014, Vol 12, Issue 12
Abstract
New Zealand is an international leader in promoting women’s empowerment. The participation of women in public space comparing to other countries is high. 50% of New Zealanders believe that it should move away from the classical model of patriarchy, equality and even increased emancipation of women and increased their participation in public and social life. Despite the high participation of women in the social space, there are worrying trends in the form of: occupational segregation; increased danger of unemployment among women; income inequality of women to men. In contrast, a positive development is the increasing number of women, especially Maori, ending universities.
