Abstract
The ancient area of Makran in southeastern of Iran plateau has always been an important part of the land and its borders of Kerman in the West was drawn up about Sind in the East. The vast area has been limited from north to Sistan and from south to the Sea of Makran (Oman). The land has the geographical location, history of several thousand years and a valuable civilization. The area of Balochistan which is mentioned in different historical and geographical contexts with different names such as Mak?, M?k?, Mik?, Mukr?n, Makur?n, Gedrosia, Zhedruzy?, ... has had particular capabilities including many cities where Greek writers have mentioned them when Alexander the Great passed from this land and then. Alexander the Macedonian in 325 BC decided to return from the mouth of the Indus river to the West. In his sketch map the large Macedonian army which was now composed of different nationalities by himself command began its war journey through Gedrosia coast (Oman sea), while his Marine Corps spearheaded by Niarkus supported the land Force in the waters of the sea. Greek geographers were divided Balochistan into three parts in this era namely Uritiy?ee, fish eaters beaches, and Gedrosia. Passing Alexander through the above mentioned triple regions faced with problems and phenomena that were not so well-known for him and his powerful army before this. In fact, difficulty of the issues was more than all the difficulties that he and his army had experienced since the beginning of the war on strand of Gr?nikus river to its end on the mouth of Indus river. However Alexander knew that the land of Gedrosia is a violent nature and lack of food sources for feeding cattle and troops, he was determined to make the pass by his arrogance and pride and to show his superhuman strength(Mehrafarin & Mousavi Haji 1388:34).
