PATHOGENESIS, SYMPTOMS AND PREVENTION OF POST-OPERATIVE IN THE ABDOMINAL CAVITY

Abstract
Peritoneal adhesions are formations of connective tissue between organs within the abdominal cavity and the abdominal wall. Adhesion diseases are associated with increased morbidity and are the cause of intestinal obstruction, iatrogenic trauma in reoperation, chronic pain and infertility. We performed 243 laparoscopic abdominals in the abdominal cavity on patients with prior surgical intervention in the abdominal cavity. Based on our experience, we can conclude that laparoscopic release of postoperative adhesions should be performed by an operator with extensive practical experience in laparoscopic surgery; use of anti-adhesive agents is of great importance; in case of desertification there should be antibiotic therapy, a supportive diet regimen, and postoperative observation for late perforation of the bowel; and in case of intraoperative lesion of the intestine it is best to switch to laparotomy.
