Peculiarities in word-building of political neologisms in Ukrainian and English

Abstract
The article has been devoted to the peculiarities in word-building of political neologisms in the Ukrainian and English languages, which should be analyzed in the courses of Contrastive Typology of English and Ukrainian. It has been stated that the formation of political neologisms in modern English and Ukrainian displays alomorphic features which concerns both a set of word-building methods and means and their frequency degree. The heterogeneity of the comparable languages’ structure explains the existence of the derivation ways of neologisms specific to each language.
