Abstract
Purpose. The aim of the work is to study the special features of using DC voltage pulse-width converter in control systems of the traction electric drive of vehicles with inductive energy transfer. Methodology. In the process of research, the methods of the calculus of variations, mathematical interpolation, and the topological method of directed graphs were used. Results. The effect of changing the parameters of the U-shaped filter and the operating frequency of the converter on the ripple of the current of the power-receiving circuit is investigated. The dependences of the current ripple level on the switching frequency of the converter and on the parameters of the elements of the U-shaped filter of a contactless mine electric locomotive are obtained when using a DC pulse voltage converter in the traction drive control circuit. Analysis of the dependence of the pulsation level on the switching frequency of the pulse-width converter showed that resonance phenomena exist in a certain frequency range, which are characterized by a sharp increase in the current of the receiving loop of the electric locomotive. Originality. Proceeding from the condition of ensuring a minimum level of ripple current in the receiving circuit, the parameters of the U-shaped filter of the pulse-width converter of the traction drive control scheme of the contactless electric locomotive are calculated. It is shown that the U-shaped LC-filter allows to effectively reduce the level of current ripples that arise when the pulse-width converter is operating in the traction drive control system of the unconfined electric locomotive. In this case, the decisive influence on the level of pulsations is exerted by the capacitance of the second link of the filter. Recommendations are given for choosing a rational switching frequency of the converter. Practical value. Practical embodiment of the obtained analytical dependence allows to prevent resonance phenomena on the elements of the power circuit of an electric locomotive and, as a result, to increase the reliability of the electrotechnical equipment of the traction drive of electric transport as a whole.
