PEDAGOGICAL CONDITIONS FOR THE FORMATION OF FUTURE PSYCHOLOGISTS’ COMPETITIVENESS

Abstract
The aim of our research is to identify and substantiate pedagogical conditions for the formation of the future psychologists’ competitiveness in the process of their professional training. The pedagogical conditions for the formation of the future psychologists’ competitiveness have not been examined or studied yet. In the course of our research, the pedagogical conditions for the formation of the future psychologists’ competitiveness were determined and substantiated; they are: inducing students to realize the subjective position in future professional activities; activation of the elements of contextual education of future psychologists; modelling profession-directed communicative situations. The subjective position allows a person to independently plan and implement his / her life plans, responding to the challenges of the world and the environment. A person with the subjective position is characterized by activity, readiness for transformations, the ability to deliberately choose from variants of events interpretations. That is why, while training a future specialist, particular attention should be paid to the formation of the student's subjective position. An important feature of the contextual education is the modelling of the subject and social content of the future profession. Approximation of the educational activity to the professional one allows the students to identify holistically their own participation, develop practical skills that will contribute to the formation of the future psychologist’s competitiveness. The contextual education is characterized, first of all, by a theoretically grounded choice and implementation of such forms and methods of teaching in a higher school that are oriented towards the model of a future specialist. So, the essence of the contextual education is that the learning process is to be carried out in accordance with the context of the future profession, taking into account the solution of specific professional tasks which future specialists of different fields will face. In the process of future psychologists’ professional training it is necessary to pay much attention to the modelling of profession-oriented communicative situations. The complex of classes should include exercises, role games, situations, the formation of the necessary communicative skills to increase the effectiveness of constructive interaction being their main task. As a result of the implementation of the pedagogical conditions, which were determined by us in the process of studying (inducing students to realize the subject position in the process of professional activity, activating the elements of the future psychologists’ contextual education, modelling profession-oriented communicative situations), the future psychologists’ general level of the competitiveness formation has increased.
