PEDAGOGICAL INNOVATION IN THE HIGH QUALIFICATION STAFF’S TRAINING

Abstract

The article is devoted to the consideration of significant contradictions in the modern education. There are contradic- tions between the innovative character in the learning process and the teaching staff’s readiness to innovate in vocational and pedagogical activities. At the same time, the resolution of these controversies is considered as a necessary condition for the success of the reform and further modernization of the national system of the higher education on a democratic and humanistic basis., according to the author of this article. It is impossible to introduce into the modern practice of national education the constructive ideas and effective technologies of vocational training and education of a new generation of scientific and pedagogical personnel of high qualification. It is impossible without modernization of the national education system of Ukraine. The experience has shown that teachers of educational institutions need to update their professional skills, seeking new approaches to one of the main tools of pedagogy – the educational process. At the same time, analyzing the quality of the results of the innovative transformations that took place in the system of general secondary and higher education at the turn of the XX and XXI centuries, it should be emphasized that pedagogical work- ers of all educational units, firstly, are not always able to identify themselves in the quality of the subjects of innovation activity, that is, specialists capable of self-learning new pedagogical realities; and secondly, they can not purposefully act and constructively transform the educational process; thirdly, they are not sufficiently prepared for positive perception, understanding of the essence and, accordingly, the high professional implementation of declarative and authoritative pedagogical innovations.
