That is why today there is a need to define concrete forms of content and methods of educational impact on students, which would contribute to the growth of their patriotism. The purpose of the article is to investigate the patriotic orientation of the content of various forms of occupation of students from physical education in extracurricular time. Objective: to study the content and forms of non-auditing activity of students of physical education; the study of the patriotic orientation of the content of various forms of occupation of students in physical education in extra-curricular time.
