PENERAPAN STRATEGI INFORMATION SEARCH UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN MENULIS KARANGAN PADA MATA PELAJARAN BAHASA INDONESIA SISWA KELAS IV SD NEGERI 010 PAGARAN TAPAH DARUSSALAM

Abstract

This research was motivated by the low ability students in writing essays. This study aims to determine the increase in the ability to write about a bouquet of fourth grade students of SD Negeri 010 Pagaran Tapah Darussalam. Subjects with Strategic Information Search. The subjects were 11 students. Form of research is classroom action research. The data collection technique used is the technique of observation and tests the ability to write essays. Based on the results, it can be concluded that with menerapkaan Search Information Strategy can improve students' ability to write essays on subjects Indonesian-grade students of SD Negeri 010 Pagaran Tapah Darussalam. Before action is taken the ability to write essay students classified as "less" to the value of the average grade is 66.1 with a percentage of 45.45% completeness with the category of "very low". After applying the strategy information search increased in the first cycle with an average value of 73.0 class with category "enough" (completed). Percentage achieved in the first cycle of 72.73% is in the interval 71-85% to the category of "medium". Then increased in the second cycle with the average value of grade 81 with the category of "good" (completed). In this second cycle, completeness students' skills in essay writing has reached a value of completeness that was set to 96.15% at intervals of 96-100% to the category of "very high".
