Peran Gizi dan Perkembangan Kognitif Anak

Abstract
Anak-anak tumbuh secara fisik dan mental. Pada masa ini, keterampilan dalam hal observasi dan interaksi dengan sekelilingnya terus ditingkatkan. Selain itu, lompatan yang luar biasa dalam berproses, menyimpan, dan menggunakan informasi juga terjadi. Kognitif merepresentasikan suatu set fungsi mental yang lebih tinggi, termasuk perhatian, memori, berpikir, belajar, dan persepsi. Perkembangan kognitif anak-anak prasekolah merupakan prediksi dari pencapaian pendidikan kelak, sedangkan tingkat pendidikan berperan besar dalam menentukan kesehatan individu di masa yang akan datang. Oleh karena itu, kesehatan masyarakat harus fokus terhadap masalah ini.
