Performance Comparison of MIMO and Massive MIMO Radar Target Detection
Journal Title: Libyan Journal of Engineering Science and Technology - Year 2024, Vol 4, Issue 1
Abstract
In this paper, a target identification technique based on the Neyman-Pearson criterion is introduced for multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) radar systems. It introduces the basic concept of MIMO and Massive MIMO radar systems, discusses the echo signal model and detection analysis of MIMO radars, then looks at the connection between signal-to-noise ratio, false alarm probability, and detection probability. Lastly, a comparison between massive MIMO radar and MIMO radar's detection performance was made.
