Performance Evaluation of Enhanced LocationAided ZRP in MANET
Journal Title: International Journal for Research in Applied Science and Engineering Technology (IJRASET) - Year 2016, Vol 4, Issue 6
Abstract
MANET is the infrastructure less and self-configuring network, in which nodes are free to move without the need of localised base station. Zone Routing Protocol (ZRP) is a hybrid protocol which is used to allow communication between the nodes, and provides framework for other protocols. Location information, as obtained by using GPS or global positioning system, is used by the Location-Aided Routing protocols for the process of route discovery. In this paper, ZRP is enhanced by reducing the routing overhead by the use of location information; and zone leaders keep track of all the nodes in the zone by maintaining a table. Also, performance evaluation of enhanced ZRP is done in terms of throughput, packet delivery ratio and routing overheads by using NS-2 simulator.

Analytical Representation on Secure Mining in Horizontally Distributed Database
The security of the large database becomes a serious issue while sharing the data to the network against unauthorized access. However in order to provide the security many researchers cited the issue of Secured Multipar...
Anti-Roll Back Mechanisms: a Review
The purpose of the paper is to analyze and review the already developed anti-roll back mechanisms for vehicles and other mechanisms of the same kind, to find the shortcomings of each of them, which hindered its general...
Bank Security System using GSM Technology with Arm 7 Processor
In this paper an advanced design system has been proposed to control the electrical devices in industries, homes and banks by using GSM technology. A GSM modem provides the communication interface. It transmits the prot...
Performance measures of M(x) / G / 1 Queue with Balking
Queuing systems with batch arrivals / or batch services are common in a number of real situations. Baha (1986) has studied a batch arrival queue with server vacations in which the server takes a sequence of identically...
Impact Of Radiation Models In CFD Simulations Of Natural Convection Heat Transfer In A Side Heated Square Cavity
The flow progress in a water-filled square cavity which is suddenly heated and cooled on the opposing sidewalls is noticed by using the CFD software package Fluent 6.3. Two approximations were used for CFD simulation of...
