PERSONAL IMAGE AND CORPORATE IMAGE PERCEPTIONS IN TERMS OF MANAGERS: A STUDY

Abstract
This study was conducted to gauge perceptions of their personal image and corporate image, business managers operating in Sivas. Reliability of personal and corporate image scale used in the study were handled separately and personal image of reliability coefficient of 30 items (Cronbach Alpha .715); Corporate image of the 41-item reliability coefficient (Cronbach Alpha: .834) is calculated it said to be quite reliable research (Özdamar, 2002: 673). Perceptions of managers for "personal image" and "corporate image" seven different hypotheses have been developed to detect. Five of the hypotheses which analyzed was rejected, and two of them were accepted. Thus participants in the study "personal image perceptions," "demographic variables" see no differences, while "corporate image" in terms of perceptions concluded that vary depending on the training and management level has been reached. Participants detect whether there is any impact on the corporate image of the personal image perception is another object of the research. So analysis of the factors affecting personal images for this measure 3 different factors and those factors identified as "personal development scale, “behavior scale " and "character scale" to be named. As a result, "personal development scale " and " behavior scale" showed significant effects on corporate image but “character scale” showed unsignificant. In this research, because personal and corporate image issues dealt with; evaluation of image sensing attitude would be beneficial for managers and organizations are considered.
