PHASE TRANSITION SIGNALS IN HEAVY ION COLLISIONS BY LATINO MODEL
Journal Title: ROMANIAN JOURNAL OF TECHNICAL SCIENCES - APPLIED MECHANICS - Year 2011, Vol 56, Issue 2
Abstract
LATINO Model is a semi-classical approach to simulate heavy ion collisions attaining qualitative and quantitative agreement with theoretical predictions and experimental results. Criticality signals have been obtained in this study where impact parameter and projectile energy are increased. Large density fluctuations are described by large values of the relative variance plotted in Campi Plots. Self-similarity in the critical region is signed by linear plots of Scaled Factorial Moments. These signatures are related to a liquid gas phase transition for nuclear matter. Also Excitation curves and Temperature plateau decrease with residual size in agreement with experimental results.

DYNAMICS OF THE HEXAPOD PARALLEL ROBOT
Recursive matrix relations in kinematics and dynamics of the Hexapod parallel robot are established in this paper. Controlled by six forces, the parallel manipulator prototype is a space six-degrees-of-freedom mechanical...
THE OPTIMIZATION OF FULL BAND-GAPS IN MULTILAYER FILMS
The multilayer films are consisted of alternating layers of material with different mechanical properties, following a triadic Cantor sequence. The extremely low thresholds for subharmonic generation of ultrasonic waves...
ROBUST CONTROL FOR HAPTIC-BASED ROBOTIC TELEOPERATION
The paper deals with teleoperated robotic systems that are commanded by a human operator via interface that provides task feedback information. In order to successfully perform challenging tasks, not only visual, but als...
EXPERIMENTAL AND NUMERICAL ASPECTS REGARDING LEAD ALLOY PLASTIC DEFORMATION
The aim of this paper is to present an experimental and finite element analysis (FEA) of the cold forward extrusion of lead alloy. The influence of die angle, reduction ratio and ram speed on the extrusion force during t...
