PHASE TRANSITION SIGNALS IN HEAVY ION COLLISIONS BY LATINO MODEL
Journal Title: ROMANIAN JOURNAL OF TECHNICAL SCIENCES - APPLIED MECHANICS - Year 2011, Vol 56, Issue 2
Abstract
LATINO Model is a semi-classical approach to simulate heavy ion collisions attaining qualitative and quantitative agreement with theoretical predictions and experimental results. Criticality signals have been obtained in this study where impact parameter and projectile energy are increased. Large density fluctuations are described by large values of the relative variance plotted in Campi Plots. Self-similarity in the critical region is signed by linear plots of Scaled Factorial Moments. These signatures are related to a liquid gas phase transition for nuclear matter. Also Excitation curves and Temperature plateau decrease with residual size in agreement with experimental results.

ON THE INVERSE SONIFICATION PROBLEM
The inverse sonification problem is discussed in this paper in order to identify new features in its capability to discover hidden details in the medical images. In contrast to the direct problem of sonification that con...
MODULAR AUTOMATON SYSTEM WITH REAL TIME CONTROL FOR CREATING COMMAND INSTALATIONS AND ELECTRICAL OPERATIONS DEDICATED TO COMBINED FORAGES PRODUCTION INSTALATIONS
The present technique performances have given the ability of achieving command installations and operations with a high level of complexity and technicality for conducting technological processes with the monitoring of a...
A GENERALIZATION OF THE GIRSANOV THEOREMS ON THE HILBERT SPACE
This paper gives a generalization of the Girsanov theorems on the separable Hilbert space. And we also give a characterization on the Hilbert space of the Wiener processes, using the quadratic variance process.
COMBINED XFEM-COHESIVE FINITE ELEMENT ANALYSES OF SINGLE-LAP JOINTS
Cohesive Zone Modelling (CZM) and eXtended Finite Element Modelling (XFEM) available in Abaqus® are used together to simulate the behaviour and strength of a single-lap adhesively bonded joint. A distinct CZM model is al...
PROBABILISTIC SEISMIC VULNERABILITY ANALYSIS OF REINFORCED CONCRETE COLUMNS
Estimating the response of reinforced concrete columns to a transitory action, represented by a ground motion, is an uncertain task. The randomness of the seismic event and that of the response should be accounted for. T...
