PROBABILISTIC SEISMIC VULNERABILITY ANALYSIS OF REINFORCED CONCRETE COLUMNS
Journal Title: ROMANIAN JOURNAL OF TECHNICAL SCIENCES - APPLIED MECHANICS - Year 2018, Vol 63, Issue 2
Abstract
Estimating the response of reinforced concrete columns to a transitory action, represented by a ground motion, is an uncertain task. The randomness of the seismic event and that of the response should be accounted for. The probabilistic seismic vulnerability analysis is a method that one can use for estimating confidence intervals for the response of reinforced columns. In this paper a mixed method using numerical analysis results coupled with experimental data is used for the assessment of the vulnerability of reinforced concrete columns.

CLASS OF ANTHROPOMORPHIC MODULAR RECONFIGURABLE GRIPPERS WITH THREE OR FOUR FINGERS FOR ROBOT-DESIGN AND PROTOTYPE
In this paper, one class of anthropomorphic modular reconfigurable grippers for robots is described, including a prototype. First, the stages of synthesis, analysis design, and functional simulation are illustrated. The...
NUMERICAL SIMULATION OF THE QUASISTATIC CONTACT PROBLEM WITH DAMAGE
This paper deals with the numerical analysis of a quasistatic contact problem with friction between an elastic body and a rigid obstacle. The contact is frictional and is modeled with a version of normal compliance condi...
DIFFERENTIAL-DYNAMIC LOGIC FOR COOPERATIVE ROBOTIC SYSTEMS
Hybrid systems are dynamical systems with interacting discrete transitions and continuous evolutions described by differential equations. They combine the digital and continuous physical effects resulting from the cooper...
sEMG BASED INTENTION IDENTIFICATION OF HUMAN BODY MOVEMENT RESEARCH ON ASSISTIVE ROBOT
Recently, the robot technology research is changing from manufacturing industry to non-manufacturing industry, especially the service industry related to the human life. Assistive robot is a kind of novel service robot....
A GENERALIZATION OF THE GIRSANOV THEOREMS ON THE HILBERT SPACE
This paper gives a generalization of the Girsanov theorems on the separable Hilbert space. And we also give a characterization on the Hilbert space of the Wiener processes, using the quadratic variance process.
